Frequently asked questions
Stablecoin Ramp FAQ
Answers to common questions about fiat onramps, offramps, Solana USDC, Ethereum USDT, wallets, payment ramps and AI Ramp.
What is a stablecoin onramp?
A stablecoin onramp converts an approved fiat payment into a supported stablecoin and delivers it to a compatible custodial or self-custody wallet.
What is a stablecoin offramp?
A stablecoin offramp receives a supported stablecoin, converts it under a quoted rate and sends fiat funds to a verified bank or payment destination.
Does RMP.xyz™ custody funds?
No. RMP.xyz™ is an educational market-intelligence and workflow platform. It does not hold customer funds or guarantee third-party transactions.
Why separate Solana USDC and Ethereum USDT routes?
The networks use different addresses, fees, wallet requirements and provider support. A route must match the exact asset and network at every step.
What is an AI Ramp?
An AI Ramp connects funding and settlement with measurable AI services such as API usage, inference, agents or compute, while defining authorization, metering and refund terms.
What should be compared before using a ramp?
Compare eligibility, supported countries, payment method, network, token contract, wallet compatibility, all-in price, limits, timing, compliance checks and support procedures.
Can USDC on Solana be sent to an Ethereum address?
No. A Solana address and an Ethereum address belong to different networks. Use a supported conversion or bridge route only after understanding the added costs and risks.
Why is ETH needed to send USDT?
USDT on Ethereum is an ERC-20 token, while Ethereum network fees are generally paid in ETH. A wallet may hold USDT but still be unable to send it without ETH for gas.
Are stablecoins always worth exactly one dollar?
Stablecoins are designed to track a reference value, but market price, redemption access, liquidity and operational conditions can vary. Users should review the asset and issuer structure.
